starting a diet in the middle of the week! good idea??

So today is day two. Unlike normal people I have begun a new diet on a Tuesday.. I used Monday as a sort of recovery day from a most exciting and rather festive and glutonous and well "abundant" three day concert called Rocking the daisies. So Tuesday would be the day I start the blood type diet as set out in Sue Vissers book called  Healthy Happy Eating for all blood types. food therepy for allergies, slimming, healing and energy!
If you are not familiar with the blood type diet its a diet, based on your blood type DUH!
I'm O which is all meat and veg BUT it gets tricky because the diet gets more specific whether you are O1 OR O2. I am O1... I'll explain how to find whether yo are a secretor or a non secretor out another time. maybe.
Anyway so at this stage I find a very helpful paragraph in this book which is titles "food that makes blood type O fat". BRILLIANT! straight to the point.
Ok... write this down:
all wheat products: bread pasta, flour, flour, sweetcorn and maize products, kidney beans, barley and peanuts. Lentils. These foods contain Lectins that bind to insulin receptors and stimulate the accumulation of fat.
Also I cant have squid or calamari... what's a nice porra supposed to do during summer family get togethers? sigh...
Not too tough? but wait, it gets tougher... NO DAIRY! what???
I love dairy, I spent a significant part of my childhood on a dairy farm and I absolutely LOVE yogurt. BALLS! ok ok... just try it out. its nearly summer.
Oats honey sugar and soya are not  good for O2.
I'll stick to this as well as gym insanely for the next 4 weeks and keep you up to speed on this little experiment.
Oh yea... trying out this no booze thing on a student lifestyle will definitely cause some bumps in the road... lets see if I manage
